Birth Summit

Connie, of the Childbirth Today from Birthsource blog, asked herself a month ago, "What if all of the leaders of childbirth organizations came together for a summit meeting to talk about the state of birth in the US?" Well, I get the impression she is involved (bless her heart), but it's going to happen. In Chicago on November 8, "Nurses, physicians, midwives, childbirth educators, doulas and lactation consultants will be meeting ... to set the evidence-based record straight regarding midwifery care and childbirth in hospital settings in the US."
